A window to history

We await you in a privileged setting, where tradition and innovation come together through the centuries in our winery in Haza (Burgos). On the national road from Valladolid to Soria, between Peñafiel and Aranda de Duero, was located the village of La Magdalena, now Viña Arnáiz, a fundamental place in the history of Castilla.

As one of the enclaves in the Christian expansion towards the South, it is also the birthplace of illustrious characters, such as Santo Domingo de Guzmán or his mother, Doña Juana de Aza, protagonists of legends and miracles around our winery and the area of Haza.

A sea of vineyards

Having been built in 2000 and with its first production in 2002, our Viña Arnáiz winery boasts a sea of vineyards covering 100 hectares, capable of transporting your eyes across a swell of vines.

Our commitment

The very structure of the winery is an example of our commitment to sustainable development, as it is built with 100% recovered materials. Viña Arnáiz is an active agent in the rural environment, contributing to maintaining the environment and generating wealth and employment in the region.

Our wines are harvested at night to ensure that the grapes reach our winery at a low temperature. In this way, and as part of our commitment to caring for the environment, we reduce the energy expenditure involved in lowering the temperature of the grapes in tank for fermentation.
